Town of Menomonee Resident Dies
On Friday, July 26th, August Schwartz, widely known town of Menomonee farmer passed away after a lingering illness caused by injuries received when he fell and broke his hip on Dec. 28, last year. Mr. Schwartz was born in the town of Kewaskum in the year of 1862, and came to the town of Menomonee some fifty years ago, where he has resided since. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the residence to St. John's Evangelical church of Kuhberg with internment in the church cemetery. Mr. Schwartz is survived by his widow, Theresa, nee Bodendoerfer; five sons, Samson, Alexander, William, Henry and John; seven daughters, Elsie and Malonie Schwartz, Mabel Ecelberger, Lillian Jahnkr(sic), Emma CoatWs(sic), Esther Moore and Margart(sic) Schultz and 12 grandchildren.

Malonie Schwartz Dies at Her Home.
Miss Malonie Schwartz, age 38 years, passed away at her home in the Town of Menomonee on Wednesday, April l. She was the daughter of Mrs. Theresa (nee Bodendoerfer) Schwartz and August Schwartz (deceased about two years ago). She lived on the homestead her entire life. Surviving besides her mother are Elsie, Sam, Alex, William Henry and John Schwartz and Mabel Ecelberger, Lillian Jahnke, Emma Coatts, Esther Moore and Margaret Schultz. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock at the St. John's church at Kuhburg, Saturday afternoon, April 4, the Rev. Carl Merkel officiating with burial in the church cemetery.

Town of Menomonee woman Passes Away. Mrs. Theresa Schwartz (nee Bodendorfer) passed away at her home in the town of Menomonee on Monday, May 17. She was born Dec. 10, 1874 at Mequon. In Sept 1894 she was wed to Mr. Schwartz. Her husband preceded her in death two years ago. Three children also preceeded her in death, two dying in infancy and one daughter, Melanie, dying a year ago.

Surviving her are five sons: Sam, Alex, William Henry and John; six daughters, Elsie Schwartz, Mabel Ecelberger, Lilian Jahnke, Emma Coatts, Esther Moore and Margaret Schultz; also one sister and 20 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 20, at 2 p.m. from St. Johns Evangelical Reformed church t Germantown, the Rev. Karl Merkel officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. The body was in state after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the A. A. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home and at the church from noon Thursday until time of service.
