Fruity Gelatin Salad

1 pkg (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
2 pkgs (10 oz each) sweetened strawberries, thawed
2 cans (8 oz. each) unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained
3 medium firm bananas, sliced

In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries, 
pineapple and bananas; mix well. Transger to a 2-quart serving bowl. 
Cover and refrigerate overnight or until firm. Yield 8 - 10 servings.

If you are preparing this for a low-sugar diet, use unsweetened 
frozen strawberries and sugar-free gelatin; very little taste 
difference and approx. 1 fruit exchange for diabetics.
