This active cemetery is located on the east side of Highway 67, 2 1/2 miles south of Highway 18, Section 14, Ottawa Township.
History
Ottawa Town Cemetery was established circa 1844. The Ottawa Cemetery Association was formed Sept. 16, 1914 and was incorporated June 22, 1923. The Association has nine directors and they hold an annual meeting.
Records
There are cemetery records available 1844 to date. All monuments have been documented. Burial certificates began circa 1925 and are maintained by the Supervisor. Ottawa Association minutes, September 16, 1914-date. There is a chart of the cemetery and there are three sets of records with maps. The President, Superintendent and the Secretary of the Ottawa Cemetery Association each have a set. Records are available by appointment with the Secretary. The transcriptions below were copied from Tombstones, 1844-Jan 1939 by the Waukesha County Historical Society, under personal supervision of Mrs. Edgar Tallmadge, Secretary, Waukesha.

Location of graves may be had from the Cemetery Association.
There are a few unmarked graves, which no information can be found.
