He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on October 28, 1951. Private Ebert was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 14, 1953. Corporal Gallitz was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously. JONES: KENNETH L PFC ARMY Date of Casualty: 20 JULY 1950 KILLED IN ACTION Date of Birth: 1930 There is conflicting information on Kenneth. One database has him listed as a Private, another as a corporal. Corporal Jones was a member of the 3rd Engineer Combat Battalion 24th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Taejon, South Korea on July 20, 1950. PARTIN: WILLIAM D PVT ARMY Date of Casualty: 26 MAR. 1951 KILLED IN ACTION Date of Birth: 1931 Private Partin was a member of the 187th Airborne Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 26, 1951. REICK: EDWARD LEROY PVT ARMY Date of Casualty: 26 JUNE 1952 KILLED IN ACTION Date of Birth: 1931 Private Reick was a member of the 224th Infantry Regiment, 40th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 26, 1952.Awarded the Purple Heart. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on October 26, 1950 and returned to duty on February 13, 1951. He was taken Prisoner of War while advising the South Koreans in South Korea later that day and died while a prisoner on May 7, 1951. For his leadership and valor, Major Whaley was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. WOLF: SIEGFRIED A MSGT ARMY Date of Casualty: 31 OCT. 1951 KILLED IN ACTION Date of Birth: 1930 Master Sergeant Wolf was a member of the Heavy Tank Company, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on October 31, 1951.
