CHANGE IN THE SILURIAN SPRING MANAGEMENT.
Waukesha, Wis., March 16. - It is understood by those who are now looking after the interests of the Silurian Spring company that at the meeting of stockholders to be held in Chicago tomorrow night, L. W. McConnell will be elected president and L. S. Ovitt will be reelected vice-president and treasurer. The latter will also take the place of W. H. Anderson, who has lately resigned as local manager. Mr. Ovitt and family will come here to live next month.

The Waukesha Baseball association will hold its annual meeting for the election of officers tonight.

Last night Mrs. G. R. Jones entertained sixty guests at progressive cinch. Mrs. T. E. Ryan took the first prize and Mr. D. J. Hemlock the booby. The party was given at the American house and was very pleasant. Mrs. Jones is a charming hostess.

Last night the Swedish quartette gave a delightful entertainment at the Presbyterian church. This was one number of the Carroll college lecture course, which consists of six numbers. The next entertainment will be a lecture by Prof. Freeman, of Madison. Dr. Gunsaulus will also lecture in the near future.

Today the Waukesha club presented their president, Mr. S. B. Braden, with a handsome silver and gold tea-set of five pieces as a wedding present. Mr. and Mrs. Braden have just returned from a wedding trip.

The attendance at dancing school last night was very good, more coming in to the reception than any evening preceding.

At the circuit court the appeal in the case of Emma Jameson vs. M. L. Snyder was dismissed. The case of Frank Eberfeld vs. R. A. Waite and W. F. Henkins was continued for a day. The case of Andrew Fortner vs. Chancey Brownell and Edgar Brownell is on trial now.
