History

The Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery is located at 9900 North Green Bay Road, Mequon. This is in Ozaukee County but about only 8 blocks north of the County Line Road. I have included it here because several families from the old Town of Milwaukee are buried here.

The church was built about 1902 and its cemetery was placed across the road. The cemetery is older than the present church. The majority of the persons buried here were from Ozaukee County.

This transcription was done by Miriam Y. Bird. It is not a complete listing of burials. Miriam copied only the oldest gravestones in July 1984. Mequon was at one time part of Milwaukee County. Some of it's vital records wre kept with Milwaukee County.
