Location

This cemetery is in a woods on a hill in the Town of Vernon, Section 27.

History

This inactive cemetery was established about 1840 with the last known burial was in 1919. There were 24 known burials, Seven additional graves of the HOLLISTER family were exhumed in 1928 and moved to Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee and Rural Home near Big Bend.

The cemetery was named for John Dodge, who settled in 1836.
